QA Engineer - Web Accessibility Job Summary What you do? As a Senior QA Engineer in Oracle.com, Oracle Content and Experience product development organization, you will design, test and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Web Accessibility testing, design automation framework for websites and product. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

Responsible for testing Web accessibility, React applications, websites, formulating automation/manual test plans, writing and executing test cases, preparing automation frameworks. Liaison with development team, IT team and stakeholders. Estimation of test automation scope and effort.

Your Key Responsibilities: Work with Front-End Web developers and accessibility team to understand Accessibility requirements, implementation details to come up with detailed Accessibility test strategies Analyse and compile reports concerning failures in WCAG compliance Conduct in-depth WCAG compliance assessments via manual reviews and using automated test tools and assistive technologies Monitor resolution of WCAG compliance violations Provide expert advice to other teams testing web pages and applications for WCAG compliance Stay up-to-date on the latest Section 508/WCAG testing and automated tool information Exposure to webpage performance, exposure to leading performance evaluation tools in the market. Diagnose and provide recommendation for QA implementation and solutions Agreeing project objectives and test execution Representing the client's interest Providing independent advice on the management of projects Requirement Gathering and Analysis Communicate effectively with business units, IT Operations/Development, Project Management and other support staff on testing timelines, deliverables, test matrix and status. Implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Serenity Execute cross browser, platform and mobile device testing Run, maintain and debug automation scripts

Skills Good knowledge in WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 (AA) Exposure to Web Accessibility evaluation tools JAWS, Voice over tools and NVDA Analysing web accessibility test results QA/Testing experience with Web & Mobile Manual/Automation Ability to translate business needs into test requirements Experience in writing and executing functional & non-functional test plans/cases within an agile environment. Experience using formal software test methodologies, and test management tools Good understanding of defect tracking tools (JIRA), test management tools (HP ALM) and other tools like Selenium, Serenity or Cucumber and Appium Strong Java programming skills is must. JavaScript/ReactJS is a plus. JMeter, Cypress knowledge is a plus Exposure to system integration testing, web services and marketing applications. Deep understanding of Http, web applications, programming/scripting languages Able to perform UAT, accurate and timely reporting of test preparation and execution progress. Self-motivated and proactive, able to learn quickly and apply new concepts, tools and applications Strong team player, organizational and negotiation skills Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to adapt to the needs of the project and demonstrate the required skills Working with global and remote team is preferred Experience in Test Analysis and test plan activities Ability to identify risks and come up with mitigation plan 6-8 years of experience in QA Automation Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
