RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose / Role:
It is the responsibility of the Pursuit Lead to develop a Technical and Commercial offer that is aligned with our client objects and provides Wood with a differentiated position to our competition

To ensure that the above is expectation is met, the Pursuit Manager will coordinate and manage the ITT process producing a Proposal Plan / Schedule

He / she will work with a number of key stakeholders who contribute to a Proposal process, including Business Development, Commercial and a number of supporting functions

Key aims and objectives:
The Pursuit Lead will work with the relevant stakeholders to identify the execution strategy and ensure this is consistently communicated throughout the Proposal. It is essential that key client messages are recognized and addressed and that all parties contributing throughout the ITT have a detailed understanding of the client\xe2\x80\x99s position. This is to be presented at the Red Team Review.

In conjunction with the above the Pursuit Manager will also work with BD, Commercial and Contract departments to ensure that the commercial offer is reflective of market conditions and this is presented at the CRB process.

Upon completion of the above Review\xe2\x80\x99s finalize the proposal, capturing any improvements or actions.

Prime responsibilities:
Manage the development of Expressions of Interest, Pre-Qualifications and Tenders as required following the Operating Model and Organizational Design Process.

This will include working with the Stakeholders to develop tendering and execution strategies prior to receipt of Client tender documents

Establish a structured plan so that all required deliverables are developed in a consistent and timely manner. The Pursuit Leader shall be responsible for establishing and then monitoring and managing against the plan, shall ensure the plan includes, but is not limited to:

Clearly define strategy

Operating unit current capability, cost and capacity and utilisation of HVEC

Location/s and requirements for project delivery

Opportunities / Innovation

Strategic deviations and exceptions

Identify Scope of Work, Deliverables, Meetings / Decision Gates

Establish schedule to align with above requirements; include for review and approval cycles (including associated stakeholders)

Identify Delivery Team

Roles, Responsibilities and Stakeholders (including extended Stakeholders such as Functional or Operational leads as necessary

Identification of clarification (immediate and future)

Overall request for information / clarifications process

Establish, monitor and control the budget for a proposal, pre-qualification and expression of interest as required

The role will involve regular engagement with AMEC Foster Wheeler Senior Corporate Management in establishing the proposal strategy and arrange various review sessions coordinating feedback received into the proposal response

Support the proposal strategy through the management approval process and functionally liaise with the Commercial Director on Commercial and Contractual matters to ensure adherence to Company Policy

Manage the Risk Management processes and support the Commercial Review Process to prepare and submit proposals

Coordinate Appropriate communication methodology for engagement in line with customer requirements and ensure timely submission of proposals to client offices

Ensure the standard write ups, project profiles and experience databases are maintained
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years minimum management experience in major Engineering Services and Lumpsum contracts in the Oil and Gas Industry

Demonstrated strong business conceptual, financial, commercial and analytical skills and focus

An understanding of risk and compliance management and its application in business

Demonstrated success in providing operational leadership to complex and \xe2\x80\x9cat risk\xe2\x80\x9d competitive business situations

Highly developed skills in all forms of communication that enable effective interaction between key and multiple stakeholders

Demonstrated people management skills with an ability to coach & develop people capability

Demonstrated ability in successfully implementing change and innovation, at the enterprise level and through contract channels

Proven high level negotiation skills
