Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Follow and ensure compliance with the Company's Purchasing Policies and Procedures
Comply with Procurement Schedules for the purchase of equipment, and materials
Create and maintain good relationships with all vendors/suppliers
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and pricing options to generate quote comparison sheets
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Obtain samples for finishes, materials etc.
Obtain quotes from material suppliers, installers and other service providers
Follow up on payments, delivery notes and invoices
Ensure all purchased items are delivered in a timely manner
Work with team members and Managers in order to fulfill job duties, as needed.
General Project Administration including maintaining complete and accurate records
Any other tasks as required by the Manager - Projects and / or the Engineers.
Maintain and update supplier information such as track record, experience, product lines etc.
Maintain records of all purchases, pricing and other important data
Create Purchase Requisitions
Qualifications / experience required:
Bachelor degree preferably Business Administration, Accountancy or Finance
5 - 6 years' experience in UAE as a Purchasing role, including data entry
Experience in the construction industry
Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
