Our client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Purchaser with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the agricultural and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of items, including spare parts, agricultural equipment, agrochemicals, and seeds, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for spare parts (pumps, construction materials, etc.) and agricultural equipment.
Manage procurement of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and related agricultural inputs.
Source and purchase certified seeds such as maize, soybeans, sunflower, and others based on seasonal requirements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure best value.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural products, machinery, and agrochemicals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Benefits:
Salary: AED 6,000 to 8,000, yearly ticket plus all benefits as per UAE labour laws
