Job description:

• Should have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.
• Should have connections with raw material suppliers.
• Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
• Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
• Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards
• Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules
• Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.
• Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
• Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record-keeping and data tracking.
• Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.
• Reviewing bids from suppliers to determine which supplier offers the best price and quality of product.
• Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
