The Purchase Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all purchasing activities in the factory. The role ensures that materials, supplies, and services are purchased at the right quality, price, and time to support factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily purchasing operations and team performance.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and secure the best deals.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and standards.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with the warehouse, production, and finance departments for requirements.
Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
Monitor market trends and update management on cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information.
Report to management about purchasing status and issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in F&B or manufacturing.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Excellent communication in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).
Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
Leadership and problem-solving skills.
