sourcing materials internationally
from countries such as
India, China, Bangladesh, and other key textile hubs
. A valid driving license is mandatory for local market visits and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure fabrics, trims, accessories, and raw materials from both
local and international suppliers
.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers in countries such as India, China, Bangladesh, etc.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to optimize cost and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with production, design, and quality departments to align material requirements.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
Visit local suppliers and vendors -
driving license required

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry standards.
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience
in purchasing within the
garments/textiles industry

Proven track record of sourcing from
international markets
such as
India, China, Bangladesh
, etc.
Strong understanding of textile sourcing, supplier networks, and import procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems.
Valid driving license
and willingness to travel as required.
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
