Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Request quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with internal departments (such as finance, warehouse, and production) to ensure procurement needs are met.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
Experience in the construction, manufacturing, Exhibition or trading industry.
Knowledge of local and international sourcing practices.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
