Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchase Officer

with strong experience in vendor management within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, maintaining vendor relationships, and preparing accurate weekly and monthly procurement reports.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors across the UAE to obtain the best quality and pricing. Maintain and update the approved vendor list, ensuring compliance with company standards and UAE market requirements. Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner. Track and monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials/services. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, trends, and pricing changes. Maintain proper documentation of all procurement transactions and supplier contracts. Prepare and submit

weekly and monthly procurement reports

, including cost analysis, order tracking, and vendor performance summaries. Coordinate with internal departments (finance, operations, warehouse, etc.) to understand purchasing needs and ensure smooth workflow. Resolve supplier issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or payment disputes. Ensure all purchasing activities align with company policies and audit requirements.

Requirements

Minimum

3 years of experience

as a Purchase Officer or Procurement Executive in the UAE. Strong knowledge of

local UAE vendors and supply markets

(fast food, manufacturing, FMCG, or relevant industry). Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for weekly/monthly reports). Experience using ERP or procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) is a plus. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strict deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

Preferred Skills

Strong network of UAE-based suppliers. Ability to generate detailed procurement dashboards and cost-saving reports. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
