Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Lead procurement activities related to AWS cloud services and technical infrastructure for our pharmaceutical distribution network. Collaborate with AWS technical teams to understand specific cloud requirements and translate these into actionable purchasing decisions. Manage supplier relationships for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and AWS partners, securing the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards. Oversee the procurement process for software, hardware, and AWS services, ensuring timely delivery and optimal cost efficiency. Maintain and manage supplier performance to ensure consistent product availability, particularly for critical pharmaceutical and healthcare supplies. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure the timely replenishment of stock and alignment with business needs, leveraging AWS tools like supply chain optimization, data analytics, and demand forecasting. Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, including quality assurance, safety, and HIPAA, when managing procurement and distribution of products. Collaborate closely with the logistics and operations teams to monitor stock levels, minimize disruptions, and streamline ordering processes. Track, report, and optimize the purchasing budget, cost analysis, and purchasing KPIs to achieve efficiency and cost reduction goals.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 2 to 5 years of UAE experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or technology sectors. Strong understanding of AWS cloud solutions and how they integrate into pharmaceutical and drug store operations. In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement processes, regulations (FDA, HIPAA), and industry standards. Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier/vendor relationships. Familiarity with inventory management, procurement software, and ERP systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and external suppliers. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring deadlines are met. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement platforms.
