One of our esteemed clients in the Steel Fabrication Industry is currently seeking a Purchase Executive to be based in Sharjah.

Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers for steel and related materials. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Purchase Planning: Analyze inventory levels and consumption patterns to develop effective purchase plans. Collaborate with production and project teams to align procurement with operational requirements.
• Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements. Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards. Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, prices, and emerging suppliers. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for strategic decision-making.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive in the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and industry standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
