Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on IT hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, and enterprise IT solutions
• Identify and benchmark OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and IT service providers
• Track pricing trends, lead times, warranty terms, AMC and SLA conditions, and licensing models
• Research alternative IT solutions to support cost optimization and technology upgrades
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets for IT products and services
• Support evaluation of RFQs and RFPs by compiling vendor data and research insights
• Analyze total cost of ownership and lifecycle costs for IT assets
• Provide data inputs to support negotiation preparation and sourcing decisions
• Coordinate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and specifications
• Assist procurement teams in preparing purchase requisitions, cost estimates, and approval documents
• Maintain structured IT vendor databases, price benchmarks, and research repositories
• Maintain accurate documentation to support audits, compliance, and governance requirements

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain
• 3-6 years of experience in IT purchasing, procurement research, or vendor analysis roles
• Exposure to IT hardware, software licensing, and IT services procurement
• Experience working with UAE or GCC IT vendor markets preferred
• Strong understanding of IT products, systems, and procurement terminology
• Excellent research, benchmarking, and analytical skills
• Ability to prepare comparison matrices and cost analysis reports
• Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement documentation tools
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
