Job Description

Responsible for the procurement of product and services for Indoguna Dubai LLC. Other areas of responsibility include supporting the Manager on price negotiation, planning,inventory control, quality control and management of supplier relationships. 1. CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (supporting the Manager) Supplier Management

• Sources suppliers for products and services as required.
• Manages and maintains supplier database
• Regularly checks supplier prices against same/similar products available
• Work closely with supplier to optimize supplier processes
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance
• Liaise with Supplier for short shipments, spoiled or damaged products

Product Management

• Formulate and implement yearly commodity and supply base strategy
• Set minimum reorder levels for all products
• Monitor inventory levels to manage stock ageing and reordering process
• Ensure all customs material movements are completed, recorded accurately and have required documentation
• Communicate with logistics details of incoming orders
• Provide accurate detail costings of product

System Management

• Input new product descriptions. Update changes in system to packaging or UM
• Regularly review product costings in system

Management reporting

• Maintain complete and accurate record of purchases including purchase orders, purchase invoices and purchase returns
• Provide inventory movement reporting as requested

Compliance

• Maintain updated information regarding import rules and formalities

2. JOB TASKS

• Manage and organize all the International and local purchases.
• Format and implement proper documentation for all purchases.
• Negotiate with suppliers and get the products at best price.
• Follow up with suppliers for short shipments, spoiled and damaged products.
• Maintain complete records of purchase orders, purchase invoices and purchase returns.

3. SKILLS

• Previous purchase experience in foodservice industry
• Tech-savvy, excellent with reporting and analytics tools including MS Excel, Power BI etc.
• SAP end user experience preferred
