Job Description
We are looking for a
Purchase Engineer - Electrical
to handle procurement activities for electrical materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure timely purchasing, cost optimization, and supplier coordination while maintaining quality and technical compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure electrical materials (LV/MV switchgear, cables, panels, instruments, etc.) Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical & commercial offers, and negotiate prices Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and logistics teams Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules Ensure materials comply with project specifications and standards Maintain supplier database and purchase records Support cost control and budget optimization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 2-5 years experience in electrical purchasing or procurement Strong knowledge of electrical materials and suppliers Good negotiation and communication skills Familiar with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
