Purchase Coordinator

Job Description



Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field may be required.
  • Coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Communicating with vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing and terms of payment.
  • Managing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and products.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills
