Purchase Assistant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order confirmations, deliveries, and invoices. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid. Prepare and maintain reports on procurement activity, cost analysis, and vendor performance. Follow up with suppliers to ensure the correct materials are delivered on time. Support in vendor onboarding and documentation processes. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (preferred). Strong negotiation and communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
