Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the procurement of pharmaceutical devices, medical equipment, and pharmacy supplies.
Identify and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and supplier agreements in line with company policies.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store/pharmacy team to maintain optimum inventory.
Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier databases.
Support audits and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical procurement guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the finance team to process payments and manage supplier accounts.
Provide administrative support to the purchasing manager and assist in preparing reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
2-4 years of experience
in purchasing within a
pharmacy, drug store, or pharmaceutical devices sector
.
Strong knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical devices, consumables, and healthcare procurement practices.
Familiarity with UAE (or relevant local) healthcare regulations and supplier networks is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
