Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proven

Public Relations (PR) Specialist

to collaborate with a government entity and develop content aligned with the national strategy for the

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector

. The ideal candidate will be

bilingual

and possess a strong understanding of ICT trends, with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, engaging, and media-friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute effective content strategies aligned with the organization's ICT objectives. Research and draft

bilingual

press releases, media statements, and public communications related to strategic initiatives, as requested. Coordinate interviews, media briefings, and public appearances for company spokespeople. Monitor industry news and public sentiment to identify opportunities for proactive media engagement. Collaborate with internal ICT teams to translate technical concepts into clear and accessible language for the general public. Support content development for events, campaigns, and special initiatives. Ensure consistent messaging across all external communication channels.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field Proven experience in writing

Arabic press releases and public statements

for high-level entities such as ministries and government bodies

10-15 years

of experience in public relations, preferably within the

technology or ICT sector

Strong writing, editing, proof reading and verbal communication skills in both

Arabic and English

Solid understanding of ICT concepts, terminology, and industry trends Demonstrated media relations skills; a network of tech/ICT media contacts is an advantage Ability to manage multiple projects in a

fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
