Your Role
Mission
To faciliate the seamless running of the Atlas Copco operations witin the UAE with respect to the employees and their families as well as the facilities by providing Government related services in line with the local regulations and requirements including, but not limited to, transactions with the Ministry of labor office, immigration departments and other government related entities. Also to contribute to office operations as and when required.
Scope
All operations in UAE with occasional support to PRO Services in Bahrain (currently managed by Compressor Technique) if required.
Main Responsibilities and objectives
Responsible for coordinating the work carried out by the assigned third parties PRO Service providers in the UAE for all visas and governmental related government related matters.
To be the focal point between the Atlas Copco employees and their families for all visa related issues.
To submit and ensure the processing of all types of applications and required documentation to the various relevant local government entities such as visit visas, employment or residence visas, trade licenses, labor permits, etc.
To proactively manage the timely renewal of all employment visas, labor permits and trade licenses.
To assist employees with the visa renewal of their accompanying families, including medical checks etc.
To initiate the process for new joiners and send notification on documentation required prior to their employment.
Create Employee files for new-joiners and subsequently handover to the applicable HR Manager of the new-joiner.
To maintain database of all passports, residence visas for all employees and accompanying family.
To maintain and update all the Free Zone site on a regular basis, checking CEC/Gate Pass/Portal accounts and manage the minimum required fund on the portal and visa Quota.
Timely renewal of all company (Atlas Copco Services Middle East UAE) related licenses, including notification of required documentation for license renewals.
Submission of detailed visa expense reports to Finance department.
Prepare and provide employees with letters or salary certificates (written in both English and Arabic when required) for ministries, embassies, banks, and other government authorities.
Timely renewal of all company branch office P.O Boxes.
Coordinate with local sponsor on all sponsorship matters, requirements, and power of attorneys.
Daily maintenance of the Business Area respective visa process databases for employee and families.
Management of PRO Assistant.
Maintaining up-to-date Power of Attorneys for changes in General Management across the operations.
Occasionally assist some employees in specific GMs with their housing, Ejari and DEWA related matters
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
Minimum 5 years experience within a government liaison/PRO role in the UAE.
Promote openness, think strategically and able to lead changes and encourage collaboration.
Knowledge
Understand and live the Atlas Copco Vision, mission, and values.
Valid UAE driving license.
Strong background in UAE Labour Law (Mainland and all Free Zones).
Experienced with the Labour, Immigration and JAFZA portal applications.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, oral and written.
A good working knowledge of MS Office 365, SharePoint, and other relevant applications/systems.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or above in Business or related fields, and/or Human Resource experience.,
Personality requirements
Passionate self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
High level of interpersonal skills and diplomacy in working with governmental entities.
Be proactive and accurate.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Take initiative and have good sense of responsibility.
