The Role
We are seeking for a Public Relations & Communications Managers. An experienced, connected and established individual who can establish, manage and execute robust public relations campaigns. He /She would work to ensure successful strategies are developed and executed in line with the marketing objectives and contribute to the foundation and its brand objectives of the organization. Direct Reports: . Executive Marketing Manager Internal Communication: . All staff within the Marketing & Communications . All staff within other departments/sections . Founder External Communication: . Relevant private/public sector organizations . Public relations agencies . Media . Strategic partners . Engaging artists / PR & comms counterparts . Key stakeholders / counterparts Key Responsibilities: . Devise ambitious PR & Comms plans in order to raise the profile of the brand . supporting the Foundations objectives . Create and implement cost effective media engagement plans, maximizing positive coverage across all channels . Manage media interviews and positioning of the Founder . Drive positive press coverage, focusing on quality in-depth articles with leading titles . Develop communication content and messages that supports the value propositions of the Foundation and the various brands . Manage and maintain key media relations internationally, regionally and locally in line with the organisations interest and opportunities . Work with Sponsorship and Business Development to ensure all sponsorship relationships and corporate partners are appropriately reflected. . Developing stories and news to continuously push the brand's exposure in media . Working with the head of department to develop fully integrated programme and channel strategies . Manage the brand reputation and ensure internal and external alignment. . Write speeches, literature and other composition assignments requested for the purpose of the organization
Requirements
Preferred Experience: . Minimum 10 years PR experience with specific experience working in the MENA region a must. . Fluent Arabic or English Speaker. . Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. . A team Player with understanding of editorial and commercial imperatives. . Understanding of communications and proven portfolio of innovative marketing experience. . Educated to degree level. . Ability to prioritise multiple markets and activities. . Budget responsibility. . Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. . Strong project management or organisational skills. . In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios. . Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format. . Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. . Motivated to deliver to deadlines. . A team Player with understanding of editorial, PR, commercial and research imperatives.
