1. Testing and Commissioning Protection Engineer:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for witnessing of testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection systems for 11kV to 400kV electrical networks. Should have a strong understanding of all the Protection philosophies such as Single Line diagrams, Protection Logic, CT/VT calculations, Interlocking schemes, Transformer, Reactor, GIS, SWGR's, LVAC/LVDC Systems, Battery/Charger and UPS, Relay settings, Protection coordination and SCADA control systems etc. The candidates have Qatar Transmission/Distribution network experience would be considered as an added qualification



Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5 years proven experience in testing and commissioning protection systems.

Strong understanding of the Protection Philosophies relay settings and protection coordination

Excellent Communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.



2. Testing and Commissioning Protection Inspector:

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

a. Experiences: 5 years' experience in HV/Medium Voltage substations (11kV to 400kV Voltage Level)

b. Scope:

Attend regular RFI's for all Protection Back-up Relay/ Auxiliary Relay, Protection BI/BCU BI checks, AC/DC, CT/VT, Testing witness activities. CT/VT Primary Secondary injection and Battery, Charger, UPS, LVAC/LVDC related test witness activities. Verify and approve the red mark-up/ site construction drawings and guide to finalize final As-Built drawings. If any Specification deviation/ non-compliance is found, issue Site Notes. * Coordinate Client's inspections (Kahramaa).
