Proposal Engineer Dubai
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Proposal Engineer to support the preparation of quotations, technical proposals, and basic design documents for Oil & Gas custody metering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering knowledge, experience with RFQs, and the ability to coordinate effectively with sub-suppliers and internal teams.
In this role, you review client RFQs and prepare quotations, pricing, and proposal documents while developing initial system designs, equipment sizing, and pressure drop calculations. You create basic design documents, such as P&IDs and SBDs, to support proposal submissions and prepare as well as evaluate RFQs to sub-suppliers from both technical and commercial perspectives. You actively track and follow up on outstanding quotations, discuss pricing and delivery terms within your assigned authority, and support project teams with scope changes and post-award calculations to ensure smooth project execution.
The most successful candidate:
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related).
Minimum Experience of 5 years in proposals of custody metering systems.
Strong technical and commercial understanding.
Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet deadlines.
Location Dubai, UAE.
