Projects Manager - Marine Construction
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of marine construction projects
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and equipment for daily project operations
Oversee construction of breakwaters, quay walls, piling works, jetties, dredging, and other marine structures
Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and marine standards
Coordinate permits, approvals, and marine surveys with consultants and authorities
Monitor project progress, costs, productivity, and risk factors
Prepare project reports, method statements, and progress documentation
Implement HSE standards and ensure safe marine construction practices
Communicate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders on technical and commercial matters
Resolve site issues, variations, and technical challenges proactively
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Marine Engineering
8-12 years of experience in marine construction projects
Strong knowledge of breakwaters, quay walls, jetties, piling, dredging, and coastal engineering works
Proven experience managing medium to large-scale marine projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Familiarity with marine equipment, floating plant, barges, cranes, and related machinery
Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera/MS Project)
Candidate must be currently based in the UAE and available for interview
