Role - Projects Manager (Digital & Emerging Infrastructure) Location - Dubai
Duration - 1 year (extendable based on business requirements) Job Purpose: This job holder is responsible for IT Infrastructure project management to plan, implement, coordinates, and oversee large scale projects. To provide related support with internal team coordination and IT change management. Follow project documentation process as per PMO framework. Key Responsibilities: 01) Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
02) Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
03) Create a project management tasks/activity plan for fulfilling each goal and objective.
04) Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
05) Analyse risks and opportunities.
06) Oversee project procurement management.
07) Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
08) Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
09) Work with the project manager to eliminate blockers.
10) Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
11) Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
12) Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
13) Prepare necessary presentations materials for meetings.
14) Ensuring project deadlines are met.
15) Determining project changes.
16) Undertaking project tasks as required.
17) Contribute to the overall architecture design of all new and existing projects.
18) Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
19) Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
20) Participating in architecture review to define the infra solution design document.
21) Conducting Proof of Concept for latest cloud-based services.
22) Worked in collaboration with subject matter experts to provide and document recommendations on infrastructure landscape.
23) Work with the other business project manager to eliminate blockers. All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager. Education: Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent Work Experience: 01) Proven work experience of minimum 10 years as project coordinator/ project leader or similar role
02) Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Management tools
03) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
04) Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
