Responsibilities

Review the projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Planning the work to be done, getting the necessary personnel, and assigning the right duties to the right people Hiring the right people and putting them on the right sites, as well as reprimanding and firing workers when needed Coordinating tasks by different people on different sites to ensure uniformity upon project completion Ensuring timely completion of the projects to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties Working within the budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses Procuring and allocating resources to ensure there is no shortage while avoiding any unnecessary delays caused by management decisions Managing both internal and external risks within the project's lifetime, such as poor planning designs, and government policies, which directly or indirectly affect the project Meet the contractual conditions of performance Review the work progress daily. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Requirements and skills:

Experience in Dubai of at least 10 :15 years in the construction companies. DM accreditation G+12 or Unlimited floors - Construction. (Preferred) Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Ability to lead a team by being a good and effective communicator Excellence in building rapport and creating a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the "big picture" Competent in conflict and crisis management Leadership and human resources management skills Excellent time and project management skills BS degree in construction management, engineering or a related field
