Seven Seas Steel Industries LLC is looking for an experienced and results-driven Facilities & Construction Projects Manager
to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of our facilities and building projects. You will be responsible for driving construction excellence--ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
This role requires close coordination with internal departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project lifecycle management--from initiation to successful handover.
Project Planning & Initiation
Define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria
Develop comprehensive execution plans including budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and regulatory bodies
Plan for future infrastructure needs and align facility upgrades with long-term business objectives
Project Execution
Lead site operations and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery
Ensure all work complies with design specifications, legal regulations, and industry standards
Manage consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain quality and progress
Review and approve construction drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
Oversee the day-to-day operations of company facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)
Monitor facility utilities and implement energy-saving initiatives
Coordinate space planning, office renovations, equipment servicing, and infrastructure upgrades
Maintain facility-related documentation, contracts, and inspection records
Ensure quick response to emergencies and minimize business disruptions
Budget & Cost Management
Track and manage construction project and facility maintenance budgets
Approve material requisitions, contractor bills, and vendor service payments
Analyze and report on interim payment application of construction, variations; implement corrective measures as needed
Optimize maintenance and operational costs through strategic planning and vendor negotiations
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across both projects and facilities
Ensure fire safety systems, emergency response plans, and HSE policies are in place and functional
Act as management representative during ISO surveillance audits and conduct internal quality audits
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Act as the main point of contact for internal departments, government authorities, consultants, vendors, and service providers
Lead regular coordination meetings and provide timely updates to management on construction and facility performance
Identify risks, delays, or compliance issues and propose mitigation strategies
Project & Facility Closure and Handover
Manage final inspections, snagging, and documentation for construction project handovers
Ensure statutory approvals, completion certificates, and as-built documentation are secured
Conduct post-project and facility reviews to evaluate performance, user satisfaction, and areas for improvement
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
PMP certification is a plus
Experience:
8-15 years in managing building construction projects from inception to completion and client delivery
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and cross-functional team coordination
Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
Budget control, scheduling, and project reporting expertise
Tech-savvy with experience in tools like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD
Ability to implement and manage new project-related technology systems
