Locally available We are seeking a Project Engineer with a strong

civil

construction

background to support the planning and execution of our projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating civil construction works in line with project schedules, budgets, and specifications. Review IFC drawings, specifications, and contracts, and raise RFIs where clarifications are required. Monitor site progress, track work against program, and report deviations, risks, and required corrective actions to the Project Manager. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and timely approvals. Support preparation of work schedules, look?ahead plans, manpower and material forecasts. Assist in cost control activities, including monitoring quantities, variations, and supporting documentation for claims and change orders. Ensure compliance with quality standards, method statements, ITPs, and HSE requirements on site. Prepare periodic progress reports, minutes of meetings, and maintain updated project documentation and logs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 4-7 years' experience as Project / Civil Project Engineer in building Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, and technical specifications. Experience in planning, coordination with stakeholders, and basic cost/budget monitoring. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project planning software (e.g., MS Project/Primavera) is an advantage. Good communication, leadership, and problem?solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. MMUP/UPDA certification is an asset (for roles in Qatar) Locally available candidates only
