Project / Site Engineer – Smoke Management System

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage site execution of smoke management systems (fans, ducts, dampers, control systems). Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Ensure compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA, and BS standards. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and Civil Defense authorities for approvals and inspections. Monitor installation quality, resolve technical/site issues, and ensure project safety standards. Assist in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Track project schedules, manpower, and ensure timely completion of works. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in Smoke Management systems. Knowledge of Civil Defense submission and approval procedures is preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project/site documentation. Strong communication and coordination skills.
