Job Summary:



The Business Development Executive - Contract Furnishings is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the commercial, hospitality, residential, and government sectors. The role focuses on promoting the company's furniture and upholstery offerings for large-scale contract projects, building strong client relationships, and ensuring project requirements are clearly captured and fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and approach prospective B2B clients, including interior designers, contractors, real estate developers, hotels, and government agencies. Develop and maintain a pipeline of contract furnishing projects through proactive lead generation and networking. Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions from the company's furniture, upholstery, carpet, curtain, and fit-out offerings. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and project proposals in collaboration with the design and production teams. Follow up on tenders, project submissions, and contract negotiations to ensure successful closure. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely production, delivery, and installation of approved projects. Maintain CRM records, track project status, and report on sales performance to management. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to represent the brand and gather market intelligence.

Requirements:



Proven experience (2-5 years) in B2B sales, preferably in furniture, interior design, or contract projects. Strong understanding of upholstery, furniture production processes, and project workflows. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and basic knowledge of reading floor plans or BOQs. UAE driving license is required.

Preferred Skills:



Existing network within the UAE interior design, contracting, or real estate development sectors. Familiarity with government or hospitality furnishing project requirements and procurement processes. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and close deals under deadlines.
