Danfoss is looking for an energy-efficiency minded Sales Engineer to develop and manage our sales based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for developing the Danfoss Climate Solutions product portfolio in District Energy, Buildings, and Leanheat (DBL), in alignment with the overall country and regional sales strategy, enhancing and spreading the knowledge of the Danfoss brand and Climate Solutions products in the GCC market.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Identifying and building strong business relationships with consultants, contractors and end users.
Good application knowledge on district energy concepts and Chill water systems.
Managing sales pipeline and development.
Generating and cultivating effective long-term relationships with customers through regular and meaningful contact.
Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database.
Developing, qualifying, following up, and closing sales opportunities, reporting all in the Sales Pipeline.
Providing input for the demand plan and rolling forecast.
Conducting product presentations, technical advisory, etc.
Increasing sales opportunities and use of Danfoss product offerings with existing customers, by up-selling and cross-selling.
Supplying technical and product information.
Monitoring markets and competitors.
Participating in national and regional sales meetings along with trade shows as required.

Bachelor or Master\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably in the field of district cooling or relevant sales in Control valves and energy meters.
Clear understanding of value selling is an important success factor.
Experience in CRM tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build a relationship quickly and effectively.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Works independently and requires minimum supervision.
Is a team player and can collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
