The role of Project Pursuit Manager plays a pivotal role in pursuing and winning strategic projects originating out of Abu Dhabi.

Measurement Solutions has wide range of offerings, which are used in a wide range of applications in critical processing facilities such as refineries & petrochemicals, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, Metal & Mining and other process facilities.

You will be working as Project Pursuit Manager for Measurement Solution portfolio of Emerson and will
be part of Central Region based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be reporting to Regional Sales Director of Central Region and will be responsible to grow Measurement Solutions portfolio from strategic projects.

Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Work boldly on FEED and pre-FEED projects to get Measurement Solutions portfolio specified in the scope.
• Establish a deep understanding of customers\' business drivers and project scope by crafting value to customers for our solution footprint.
• Contribute to the customer\'s business and maintain a goal-oriented approach to the business partnership. Demonstrate to customers how they benefit by partnering with Emerson and how our solutions deliver results.
• Identify, map, and build strong relations with the key stake holders on assigned pursuits.
• Provide a detailed project pricing analysis and participate in DoA with senior management.
• Collaborate with regional, product management, Industry and XBU teams to pursue and improve contents of Measurement Solutions portfolio.
• Follow process to support early engagement with EPCs, consultants, OEMs & end users.
• Coordinate with MEA Regional Sales & Account Teams on Entity projects and liaise with other World Areas on Destination projects.
• Understanding regional competitor and competitor\'s product and application, responsibility of collecting market trends and specific customer requirement and feedback to product marketing team timely. Provide input regarding the marketplace and product competitiveness.
• Work with customer, legal & finance teams to get the alignment on acceptable commercial terms and conditions.
• Provide clear expectation of winnability & timeline of pursued projects.

What do I need to be considered for this role?

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics with 12 - 15 years of Sales / Project Pursuit experience in Middle East for Field Instruments in various industries such as Oil & Gas, Power & water, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Metals & Mining etc. with a consistent record of success in sales and marketing management
• This role requires in depth knowledge of field Instruments like Pressure, Temperature Transmitters, Analytical Instruments & Flow Products and Solutions
• Demonstrates ability to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate (i.e., must has good oral, written and presentation skills) within a multi-layered matrix organization.
• The candidate must have experience in working with teams, and large project management in matrix organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 - 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong industry credibility and proven success with selling measurement solutions and providing technical support is mainstay.
• Lead by example in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, selling skills and work habits.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship/customer management with a keen and strategic understanding of Measurement Solutions Group and end-user strategy is central.
• Must possess superior \xe2\x80\x9csoloing\xe2\x80\x9d skills needed to navigate through the Measurement Solutions group Organization and get things done to support strategic projects.
