Project Planning Engineer - Fit-Out
to join our professional team and play a key role in ensuring our projects are planned, tracked, and delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project for fit-out works.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Prepare and update baseline programs, weekly/monthly progress reports, and look-ahead schedules.
Identify and mitigate potential delays, and recommend recovery plans.
Monitor project milestones, resource allocation, and critical path activities.
Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and client requirements.
Integrate planning with cost control to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Maintain accurate project documentation and support in claims and extension of time submissions when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in project planning within the
interior fit-out
sector in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of fit-out execution processes, sequencing, and site coordination.
Proficient in
Primavera P6
and
MS Project
.
Familiar with UAE building codes, authority approvals, and local regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of AutoCAD for understanding project drawings.
Experience in integrating planning with procurement and logistics.
Exposure to commercial, retail, and hospitality fit-out projects.
