Role Summary:

We are hiring a skilled and detail-driven

Project Manager / Project Engineer

who will take

full ownership of interior design and fit-out projects

, including joinery, from inception to final handover. The ideal candidate will act as both the

technical lead and site manager

, ensuring the seamless execution of design, site coordination, estimation, budgeting, and client communication.

every stage of the fit-out process

and is ready to lead

both on-site operations and project administration

Key Responsibilities: Project & Site Management

Lead full-cycle project execution

: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Supervise all on-site activities including civil, MEP, fit-out, and joinery works. Manage subcontractors, site engineers, and skilled labor to ensure adherence to quality and timelines. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and issue resolutions.

Design & Technical Coordination

Review architectural/interior design drawings, joinery/shop drawings, and technical layouts. Coordinate with design consultants and internal teams to align drawings with site realities. Approve technical submissions and ensure compliance with design intent and project specs.

Costing, BOQ & Procurement

Prepare and validate BOQs

and detailed material take-offs. Monitor project budgets, cost control, and variations. Coordinate procurement schedules and ensure timely material delivery as per project timelines.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors. Lead project meetings, progress briefings, and client coordination. Ensure professional handling of change requests, snag lists, and final handover documentation.

Documentation & Approvals

Maintain all project records, site reports, daily logs, and correspondence. Ensure all municipal and authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.) are obtained. Prepare handover files, as-built drawings, and completion certificates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Minimum

4+ years UAE experience

in managing interior fit-out and joinery projects. Strong command of site execution, project scheduling, and technical drawing interpretation. Expert in handling

luxury commercial, residential, retail fit-out projects

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)

;

SketchUp/Revit

is a plus. Excellent leadership, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Valid UAE Driving License

is mandatory - must be able to travel between sites. Must be

available to join immediately

and attend interviews on short notice.
