The Role

Provide leadership to a team of Engineers and Draftsmen o Provide the technical guidance, supervision, quality assurance and quality control for all deliverables o Schedule and manage the team's activities o Prepare delivery forecasts and estimates o Prepare the project's technical and financial documents o Manage project schedule and resources o Manage project risks and mitigation measures o Ensure that deliverables meet contractual requirements o Represent the company in all internal and external meetings o Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders o Undertake staff improvement (e.g. trainings and lessons-learned sessions) and assess employee performance. o Manage project scope change, scope creep and other contractual matters o Undertake process improvements towards better work efficiency

Requirements

Requirements:

o Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering o Masters Degree is preferred. Extensive and solid experience may be considered. o Familiarity with Ashghal Guidelines and Standards is preferred, but knowledge in other similar standards (e.g. British/European) can be considered. o Minimum 15 years solid experience in the field of road and infrastructure design, including familiarity with land acquisition and site clearance requirements, interface consultation, road safety audits, HSE, Sustainability, Value Engineering, planning, tender preparation and tender evaluation. o Solid knowledge in delivery for the different stages of design development (i.e. concept, preliminary and detailed). o Knowledgeable in the preparation of reports, calculations, presentations, cost estimates, life cycle cost analyses, value engineering, environment and sustainability. o Proven leadership and work management skills o Proven ability to interface with internal and external entities o Proven oral and written communication skills o Results driven Required areas of Technical Expertise: o Project Management Plan and Design Management Plan o Technical and Financial Proposals / Budgets o Master Plan Development o Design Development o Planning (Scheduling and Resource Management) o Risk Management o Project Change o Quality Assurance and Quality Control o Health, Safety and Environment o Sustainability o Value Engineering o Commercial and Contracts Management o Document Control and Management o Stakeholder Management o Tender Documentation & Evaluation Required Technical Skills: o Knowledgeable in the use MS Office (e.g. word, excel and powerpoint) o Understands Primavera Software
