Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager experienced in Power Transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in EHV/HV substations, overhead transmission lines, and related infrastructure, with proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project management for transmission line and substation projects (132kV and above). Plan, coordinate, and supervise project execution from design to commissioning. Develop project schedules, budgets, and progress reports in alignment with client and company requirements. Manage contracts, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Monitor project risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure adherence to HSE standards. Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments for approvals and project progress. Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards. Manage project manpower, materials, and resources efficiently. Drive performance, resolve site issues, and ensure successful handover of completed projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of experience in power transmission projects, including substations and OHTL (Overhead Transmission Lines). Proven experience managing large-scale EPC or utility projects in the GCC region. Strong understanding of transmission systems, protection schemes, and grid integration. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
