Job Opportunity: Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Location: Qatar

Salary: 28,000 QAR to 35,000 QAR/PM + Private Insurance + Family Visa (Wife and 2 Kids under 16 years)

Contract Duration: Permanent

Working Hours: 8 hrs./day, 6 days a week (or as per project requirements)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with over 15 years of post-graduate experience in the Oil & Gas sector to join our team for large-scale shutdown projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executing onshore EPIC shutdown-intensive projects within refinery process units, including heaters, blast-proof buildings, and instrumentation control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of shutdown projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring effective cost control.

Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of shutdown activities.

Lead and mentor engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and vendor management.

Prepare regular reports and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrument, Electrical, or related field) - Non-Civil Background.

15+ years post-graduate experience in managing projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

Proven experience executing onshore EPIC shutdown-intensive projects, specifically in refinery process units.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMP certification.

Expertise in budget management, resource planning, and cost control for shutdowns.

Comprehensive understanding of HSE regulations.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP).

Chartered Professional Engineer status or membership with a recognized engineering body (e.g., PMP, CEng, AACE).

Extensive experience in the Qatari Oil & Gas sector.

Familiarity with shutdown-specific tools for scheduling, procurement, and tracking.
