Role summary

Ozone API has created significant global momentum and growth, as the leading provider of standards based open finance software. To date, this has been primarily driven through direct sales, partnership development and great delivery. We are now looking to bring in a Project Manager, reporting to our Head of Delivery and based in either Abu Dhabi or Dubai, for our operations across the MENA region to collaborate with our partners and customers in the region and continue to deliver amazing open finance solutions. It is expected that the role holder will have a strong background in agile project management, clear communication and a strong passion about unlocking the power of open finance!

Key responsibilities

Project delivery management with key partners/customers in the region:

• Plan and develop all aspects of the project delivery for our partners and customers, relating to one or both of:
  • Development of open banking/finance frameworks and standards.
  • Deployment of the Ozone API software for our customers (banks and FIs).
• Align priorities and manage all dependencies and conflicts.
• Proactive management of tasks and milestones in accordance with agreed project plan timings.
• Preparing and communicating status reports with key stakeholders.
• Arranging and leading regular status meetings with partners and customers.

Collaborate with Delivery, Product and Engineering teams:

• Acting as the main point of contact during delivery for each partner/customer.
• Liaising with Delivery and Engineering team members to ensure we deliver on time, every time.
• Taking input from partners and customers on product features and enhancements and liaison with Product team members to feed into the overall product roadmap.

Other:

• Working collaboratively with all other Ozone API teams (managers, staff and contractors), technology vendors, partners and customers as required.
• Attending regular team and customer meetings as/when required.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a project manager.
• At least 3 years managing complex IT projects (at least 1 year in financial services).
• Experience of setting up and managing projects in MS Project and Jira.
• Ideally some formal qualifications in Prince2 and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple senior stakeholders (internally and externally).
• Excellent English oral and written communication.
• Arabic oral and written communication skills will be a plus.
• Familiarity with open banking standards (e.g., PSD2, Open Banking UK) will also be a plus.
