Project Planning & Coordination: o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. o Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design and construction requirements are met. o Set clear project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Team Leadership & Management: o Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers. o Hold regular project meetings to discuss progress, risks, and issues. o Ensure that all team members are following project goals and deliverables.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: o Serve as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. o Maintain positive client relationships and provide regular project updates. o Address client concerns and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Budget & Cost Control: o Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and tracked. o Review and approve invoices and expenditures. o Identify and mitigate any potential cost overruns or delays.
Quality Assurance & Safety: o Ensure that the project complies with all safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control procedures. o Conduct site inspections and quality assessments. o Address any issues related to the construction process to meet regulatory standards.
Risk Management: o Identify and assess project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. o Proactively resolve project challenges, ensuring that projects stay on track.
Progress Reporting: o Provide regular reports on project progress, performance, and financial status to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. o Proven experience (8 years) as a Project Manager in the fit-out or construction industry. o Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling. o Experience managing and coordinating multiple teams and contractors. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. o Proficiency in project management software. o Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills. o Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. o Experience with high-end commercial or residential fit-out projects. o Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building certifications.
