Key Responsibilities:
Project & Client Leadership:
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client and project team, ensuring clear communication and resolving issues promptly.
- Lead projects from initial concept through to final construction documents, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, fees, schedules, and contracts with clients and consultants.
- Chair client and team meetings, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up.
Financial & Operational Management:
- Define and control the project scope, schedule, and budget to meet quality and financial goals.
- Be responsible for meeting or exceeding the project's financial targets, including timely invoicing and collections.
- Manage project setup, contracts, and documentation, ensuring orderly project close-out.
- Coordinate staffing needs with the Operations Director.
Team & Business Development:
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment, mentoring staff and supporting their development.
- Support marketing efforts and contribute to proposals to help win new business.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
Required profile
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture or Project Management.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
- Advanced knowledge of the design process, construction documentation, and project financial management.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ERP platforms (e.g., Deltek).
- Basic knowledge of CAD/Revit/BIM software.
- Excellent client presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, proactively solve problems, and mentor a team.
- Professional licensure/registration is a plus.
