Purpose of the Role
Plan, execute and deliver IT projects as per ADICs requirements and internal processes and procedures within agreed limits of scope, time, and costs, while meeting the desired quality standards and business objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex data analytics initiatives from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Drive project execution across the full lifecyclexe2x80x94including planning, design, architecture, implementation, testing, and deploymentxe2x80x94on cloud-based platforms such as Azure and Snowflake.
  • Oversee the integration of data and applications, ensuring robust delivery of business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions.
  • Apply a strong understanding of the investment data lifecycle to manage data across private and public markets effectively.
  • Apply a strong understanding of investment data in the publics and/or private markets.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of investment and financial applications, including SaaS platforms, to guide solution design and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement data strategies, data modeling, and data architecture that support long-term scalability and governance standards.
  • Ensure that all project milestones, dependencies, and timelines are met, using a results-driven and structured delivery approach.
  • Contribute to and lead projects involving advanced analytics capabilities, including data science, AI, and Generative AI technologies.
  • Provide strong, proactive leadership, acting as a driver rather than an order taker, and demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
  • Manage multiple concurrent data and analytics projects, coordinating efforts across cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, delivering clear communication and effective problem-solving to support enterprise-wide data transformation programs.
  • Balance a risk-based approach with an outcome-based approach to optimize project delivery.
  • Execute IT Projects per the ADICs project management methodology.
  • Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify project risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Produce and manage project documentation, reporting and minutes of meeting.
  • Lead project teams and facilitate collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Carry out activities related to projects procurement, in particular RFP, RFQ, Agreements, Budget Management, Annual Maintenance and Renewals, scenario planning, forecasting and roadmap development.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers to identify scope, resources and time conflicts across all projects and report to Management along with possible remediations.
  • Effectively use appropriate tools for managing projects, people, and tasks.
  • Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned by Line Manager.
Education and Experience
Education
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, statistics, operational research, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (mandatory).
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification or equivalent (mandatory).
Experience
  • 10+ years IT Project Management experience in Financial Services, with Investment Management experience preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in IT Project Management using Waterfall methodologies.
  • 5+ years experience in IT Project Management using Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leading complex projects, managing budgets and timelines, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge
Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Strong knowledge of IT frameworks, and tools relevant to project management.
  • Strong experience in Application (Enterprise/Investment) project management.
  • Strong background in Data Analytics project management.
  • Strong experience in one or more of Planview, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, Monday.com, Service Now or related tools.
  • Strong experience in developing clean and compelling PowerPoint presentations, structured storytelling and having the ability to translate ambiguous/complex concepts into structured thoughts and visuals.
  • Familiarity with software development, database management systems and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of availability, reliability and maintainability targets for the IT Infrastructure and Services, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

  • Awareness of legal and ethical considerations, such as data privacy and intellectual property rights.

  • Internally:
  • Senior Management: The IT Project Manager interfaces with senior management to provide project updates, request additional resources, and seek guidance on critical decisions that impact the project. They also provide reports on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Stakeholders: The IT Project Manager interfaces with stakeholders to identify project goals, objectives, and expectations. They also communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
  • Project Team: The IT Project Manager interfaces with the project team to manage resources, assign tasks, and ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. They also provide guidance and support to team members, as well as resolve conflicts that may arise.
  • Business Users: The IT Project Manager interfaces with business users to understand their needs and requirements, as well as to ensure that project deliverables meet their expectations. They also manage their feedback and concerns, resolving issues as necessary.
  • Externally:
  • Vendors and Suppliers: The IT Project Manager interfaces with vendors and suppliers to procure the necessary resources and equipment needed for the project. They also negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure that vendors deliver products and services as agreed upon.
