Job Title: Project Manager (Civil)
Reports To: Director of Projects / Operations Manager
Experience: Minimum 12 Years (with proven experience in Industrial Projects)
Job Summary
The Civil Project Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall management and delivery of large, complex civil and structural scopes for industrial facilities. This includes total site development, foundation works, and structural steel erection. You will leverage your extensive civil engineering background and project management expertise to navigate technical challenges, manage significant budgets, and lead diverse teams of engineers and construction professionals to successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management:
• Take full ownership of civil/structural projects from the proposal stage through final closeout and client handover.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules (using CPM/PERT techniques), and budgets, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Assemble and lead project teams, including internal staff, external consultants, and contractors.
• Commercial & Contract Management:
• Manage all financial aspects of the project, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and ensuring profitability.
• Administer prime contracts and subcontracts, managing all terms, conditions, and change orders.
• Prepare and present monthly project status reports to senior management and clients, covering financial performance, schedule progress, and risk.
• Stakeholder & Site Management:
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or issues that arise.
• Provide strong safety leadership, enforcing a zero-incident culture on-site.
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed in accordance with design documents, specifications, and safety plans.
• Risk & Quality Assurance:
• Implement a robust project risk management process.
• Ensure all civil/structural designs and construction activities comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage the quality control/quality assurance process, including inspection and testing of materials and workmanship.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience, with a significant portion in a project management capacity.
• Must have a proven portfolio of successfully managed industrial civil projects, such as greenfield site development, large industrial building structures, or complex foundation systems for heavy equipment.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods, contracting, and construction law.
