Job Description

To Manage the catering accommodation Laundry and Allied Services on the assigned camp / Location. To undertake complete responsibility for economic control of the facility whilst maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction by maintaining superior standards in operations.

To oversee food production, including menu planning, food preparation, portion control, presentation and service to the highest standards including planning and supervising the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.

To produce cost /sales analysis as required and lead on the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies. To ensure ordering of foodstuffs and light equipment is undertaken as per purchasing policies and procedures and to ensure that the amounts, process, and condition of all supplies and deliveries are properly checked. To manage catering stock, minimizing waste by good storage and stock rotation, and carry out periodic stock checks. To operate flexibly to ensure hospitality is provided as and when required for functions, including special events and parties. To plan and execute such events. To have overall responsibility of the administration & QHSE activities of the location and supervise the activities of all GES staff in the location. To ensure all the staffs are aware of their responsibilities by giving the required inputs and proper training regularly. Maintain excellent communications & relations with client representatives with a quick reaction to requests & complaints. To conduct a daily inspection of the kitchen, stores, mess halls, guest rooms, and bathrooms/toilets and ensure them all-time clean. To make a maintenance request for any troubleshooting of equipment and get them rectified. Admin Operation for overall catering operations such as Planning the duty roaster for all staff. Transportation Arrangements . Payroll timesheet preparation Staff records updates Any other duties assigned by management related to the job profile. Take complete charge of all other matters & emergencies that may arise
