. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of metalwork projects--including handrails, balustrades, canopies, cladding, gates, and custom architectural structures. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site management capability, client coordination, and leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution
Lead the full lifecycle of architectural metal works projects from initiation to handover.
Prepare project schedules, work programs, manpower plans, and procurement timelines.
Coordinate with design/engineering teams to review shop drawings, material specifications, and fabrication details.
Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers.
Site & Construction Management
Oversee site installation activities to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical/site issues promptly.
Ensure installation work meets approved drawings, safety standards, and project specifications.
Monitor progress and implement corrective actions when delays or issues arise.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Attend progress meetings and provide updates on project milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Manage variation orders, technical approvals, and change requests.
Cost & Budget Control
Prepare project budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Track project expenses, control costs, and prevent overruns.
Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices.
Team Leadership
Supervise project engineers, supervisors, and site teams.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure workforce productivity.
Quality, Health & Safety
Enforce strict adherence to QHSE standards and company policies.
Ensure safe working practices during fabrication and installation activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum
6-10 years of experience
in architectural metal works or facade/steel fabrication projects.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, and installation techniques.
Proven experience handling medium- to large-scale architectural metalwork projects in the UAE.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other engineering/project management tools.
UAE Driving License preferred.
