We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager with extensive expertise in aluminum and glazing systems to lead and oversee high-profile projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will have 8-10+ years of project management experience, particularly in the aluminum and glazing industry, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a valid UAE driving license for regular site visits and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead all phases of aluminum and glazing projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality assurance.
Leadership & Team Management:
Manage, mentor, and motivate engineers, subcontractors, and project staff to achieve project objectives efficiently.
Client Relations & Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main liaison with clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget & Cost Control:
Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Risk Management:
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks proactively; develop and execute contingency plans as needed.
Site Management & Coordination:
Oversee daily site operations to ensure work aligns with project plans, safety standards, and timelines.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular quality inspections and enforce compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
Contractor & Supplier Management:
Coordinate procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Progress Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports on project status, schedules, budgets, and challenges for senior management and clients.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least 8 years focused on aluminum and glazing projects.
Driving License:
Valid UAE driving license required.
Project Management Expertise:
Strong grasp of project management methodologies, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of aluminum and glazing systems, construction techniques, and material specifications.
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage client expectations, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building strong client and team relationships.
Problem-Solving:
Sharp analytical skills and the ability to proactively solve project challenges.
Attention to Detail:
Keen eye for detail to preemptively identify issues affecting timelines or budgets.
