Summary:

The Project Manager oversees all construction projects at AgX, from the design phase all the way to construction and testing and commissioning. The Project Manager is responsible for managing all the stages of the project, identifying proper resources, coordinating with consultants, communicating and maintaining project goals, managing and administering of contracts, resolving conflict, and assessing alternatives. As a facilitator, the Project Manager collaborate and coordinate with the internal stakeholders and keep the flow of communications alive with the external consultants and contractors to make sure timelines and budgets are abided to. The Project Manager reports to the General Manager of AgX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the project budget and program through close monitoring and providing progress reports and highlighting execution risks.
• Manage and administer the project contracts and keep record of all scope deviations and claims.
• Responsible for coordinating ordering and delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of specialty equipment.
• Collaborates and coordinates the efforts of various functions to establish and execute the project program.
• Works with the field team to complete project objectives for construction and equipment installation
• Assist in the preparation of projects\xe2\x80\x99 RFPs.
• Participate with Corporate Engineering on FAT requirements for equipment and systems, able to attend FAT testing and to approve equipment for delivery to the project site.
• Coordinate with key suppliers and contractors to ensure effective receiving and installation of equipment.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new engineering processes.
• Ensure health, fire, and safety (HSE) regulations are always followed.
• Initiate and submit internal Purchase Orders to align with project deadlines; approves all invoices submitted from contractors for payment.
• Travel is required to support new farm execution in the MENA region.

Qualifications:

• B.E. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Construction or adjacent field is a plus.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience (PMP or PRINCE 2 certificate a plus).
• Experience with process/equipment validation, documentation, and execution \xe2\x80\x93 IQ, OQ, PQ.
• Proven track record of delivery on projects involving equipment from sourcing to commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to ensure minimum interruptions or delays.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross functional teams.
• Experience in creating and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid communication skills required both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AUTOCAD
• Proficiency in Revit is a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position with normal work hours and workdays. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
