Role Purpose:

Jobs at this level serve as member of management. The Senior Project Expediting Manager provides functional leadership and is responsible for high complexity and ambiguity tasks. The department will depend on his persons\xe2\x80\x99 management to provide mega project responsibility.

Key Accountabilities:

- Establishing Procurement EXPEDITING Procedure for a project.

- Implement any additional and appropriate strategy against lessons learned.

- Coordinate and supervise all the EXPEDITING activities for the assigned Project.

- Represent EXPEDITING at Project Procurement review meetings and project management meetings (whenever required).

- Exercise all efforts and resources necessary to achieve all EXPEDITING function objectives for the assigned project requirements for committed delivery improvement.

- Quality Assurance of the Material Status Report.

- Ensure that areas of potential problems will be individually highlighted by issuance of an exception report and recovery plan for late activities identifying VENDOR(S)\xe2\x80\x99 action to recover the delivery slippage.

- Participate in the overall VENDOR performance evaluation.

- Advise Procurement Manager and Project Manager on any unusual or potential critical deliveries as well as coordinate with them for any assistance / guidance for resolving of generic and specific delivery problems.

- Ensure the full awareness and implementation of the requirements of the quality management system by all Expeditors.

- Ensure the full awareness and implementation of the requirements of the environmental management system and the applicable environmental laws, regulations, codes, standards and other requirements by all Expeditors.

- Critical or outstanding issues sorted out and prompt actions are taken to prioritized company\'s purchase orders among VENDOR\xe2\x80\x99S production plan.

- Company\'s VENDOR list include only highly qualified known manufacturers / stockiest that maintain a quick response time.

- Problems are identified at an early stage.

- Recommendations are adopted.

- Eliminate or minimize of any delivery delay (s).

- New employees show Compliance.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge

- B.Sc. in Engineering

- 12 years overall experience in similar field in Oil & Gas Industries.

- Have the capacity to take charge while still addressing the concerns and individuality of any team members.

- Ability to productively handle grievances.

- Excellent Interpersonal skills.

- Ability to discern what\'s most important and to allot your own and your team\'s time accordingly.

- Ability to gauge different solutions to inevitable problems and select the one most likely to bring about the results you need.

- Skilled in preparing clear, comprehensive correspondence and reports.

- Knowledge of general business practices and administrative procedures and oral communication regarding technical and contractual matters with both project and supplier personnel.

- Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.

- Able to effectively utilize a personal computer in day to day work, and utilize software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, online system and similar programs.

- Decisive, perceptive, analytical, has the talent for analyzing situations and reaching constructive recommended actions, responsive to the projects strategies and various situations.
