AlTayer is on the look for a Project Executive who willplan and manage the execution of retail / building projects of the Group from inception to completion by effectively managing Clients, Principals, Landlords, statutory authorities and contractors, materials procurement and all applicable/ available resources to ensure completion of the projects within the agreed specification/ quality standards, budgets and timelines so as to meet clients' communicated objectives Role responsbilities includes: Prepare a project execution plan in consultation with BusinessDesign and the Developers in order to accomplish its objectives within constraints of time, quality and approved budgetImplement approved procedures for tendering, selection and appointment of contractors, labor matters, payment terms, dealings and communication between all parties - clients, architects, consultants and contractors, and redresses of issues for effective coordination and collaborationDevelop project strategic program detailing key milestones including concept and detail design delivery, procurement of direct supply items, contractor's scope of work extending to construction period and handover date to the ClienManage the design process for the project ensuring the agreed design milestone deliverables are met in accordance with the project programAnalyze and recommend to senior management, the list of vendors / subcontractors / suppliers capable of executing projects within agreed time and costReview and approve the drawings submitted by contractors and ensure that they are examined by all parties concerned i.e., Commercial, Buyers, Landlords and local authoritiesCoordinate with Consultants and contractors (where applicable) on all issues pertaining to drawings, programs, schedules and ensure timely resolution of all issues. Also monitor progress against the project program and keep the Management and Business updated on project progress through clear and transparent communicationManage all aspects of the individual project contract requirements to ensure contract deliverables are adequately addressed and closed out at project completionConduct quality checks to ensure that the materials meet all client specifications, coordinate with all concerned to ensure adherence to quality, health and safety regulationsPrepare and update the store tracking report on a weekly basis to reflect the progress of store delivery and roll out and flag any risk to all concerned and initiate remedial action to ensure execution of project as scheduledManage all aspects of the individual project contract requirements to ensure contract deliverables are adequately addressed and closed out at project completionConduct quality checks to ensure that the materials meet all client specifications, coordinate with all concerned to ensure adherence to quality, health and safety regulationsPrepare and update the store tracking report on a weekly basis to reflect the progress of store delivery and roll out and flag any risk to all concerned and initiate remedial action to ensure execution of project as scheduledCoordinate with QS to produce the CAPEX for all new projects, in a timely manner and submit to Business for review and approvalProvide accurate information to QS on percentage of jobs completed and on any variations to ensure that no over payments are made to the sub-contractors / suppliersCarry out final inspection, prepare a snag list along with Operations and ensure snags are attended to or rectified by the relevant subcontractors within the time allowed by the agreementEnsure all assets are tagged as per agreed processesEnsure all learning's are captured post completion of each projectManage defect liability as per agreed process . Manage projects (opening/closures) kick offsRequirments:8 to10 year's work experience in retail construction industry with latter years in a responsible project management position Knowledge and SkillsStrong communication and relationship building skillsProven planning, organizing and project management skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSolid relationship management skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to resolve routine issues independentlyAbility to identify/manage potential riskCapable of prioritizing work in alignment with business goalsDetail-oriented high concern for quality and customer satisfactionCommunicates clearly, effectively and professionallyAbility to effectively interface and communicate with all key internal partners including sales, marketing, Facilities and risk management.Customer / Client experience focusedPossesses solid project management skills and effectively manages time and resources to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Additional Information
