Job Tittle: Project Estimator /Cost Controller

Location: UAE, Dubai (Applicants must currently be based in the UAE)

Role Summary:
You will estimate costs and track expenses for our factory-based projects. Your role ensures we stay within budget, avoid cost overruns and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for factory projects: materials, labour, equipment, overheads, subcontracting.
- Review project drawings, factory layouts and production processes to determine resource needs and costs.
- Maintain cost data (unit rates, vendor quotes, labour rates, past project costs).
- Monitor project costs vs budget, spot variances, propose corrective actions and cost-saving ideas.
- Work with procurement, production and project teams to assess cost implications of changes, value engineering and vendor alternatives.
- Provide regular cost reports, forecasts and dashboards to senior management.
- Support tender/bid processes by supplying cost inputs and pricing models.
- After projects complete, review cost performance, capture lessons learned and help improve our estimating tools.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing) or Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years' experience estimating and controlling costs in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Good track record in factory-based projects (e.g., layout changes, equipment installation, production upgrades).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; able to interpret manufacturing drawings/processes and convert into cost.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Excel and cost-estimating tools or ERP cost modules.
- Strong attention to detail, good time-management, ability to work under pressure.
