Job Description

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyse architectural, interior, and MEP drawings to extract accurate quantities.

?

Prepare zone-wise and itemised Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project scope.

?

Ensure BOQs reflect all deliverables, exclusions, provisional sums, and assumptions.

?

Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, machinery, subcontractors, and overheads.

?

Build item-wise rates using historical data, supplier rates, productivity norms, and site factors.

?

Incorporate contingencies, profit margins, and risk allowances in estimates.

?

Send enquiries to pre-approved vendors and subcontractors for pricing support.

?

Evaluate and compare multiple quotations; ensure scope match and commercial clarity.

?

Maintain and update a pricing database of reliable suppliers and subcontractors.

?

Study tender documents, RFQs, scope of works, and design packages to ensure alignment.

?

Monitor project scope and promptly identify any work or requests outside the agreed scope; prepare cost estimates for such variances and ensure they are invoiced accordingly.

?

Raise timely RFIs (Request for Information) in case of gaps or ambiguities in client inputs.

?

Highlight scope mismatches or missing items to the Project Manager.

?

Prepare complete pricing documents, tender summary sheets, and trade breakdowns.

?

Coordinate with external designers and project teams for value engineering or alternate proposals

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
