Job Summary: Looking for an experienced and talented Commercial Construction Project Engineer for a reputable company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Job Key Details:
- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans while presenting them to the management
- Actively participate in necessary project documentation
- Research and bring to light possible risks on the project
- Monitor with the site engineers to make sure work is being done as per design drawings, specifications and meeting planned dates in the schedule
- Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts
- Participate in the finalization of Billing Break ups, Bill Certification etc.
- Provide information about the project progress, non compliance and delays in work to the Project Manager
- Monitor the day to day operations of the site work
- Keep an eye on the working environment for hazards
- The ideal candidate for this position must have relevant qualifications
- Practical knowledge in coordination of MEP with civil activities is required
- Should have excellent knowledge in computer application especially Ms Office
- Should be an excellent communicator with project management skills and technologies
- Knowledge in AutoCAD is required for this role
- Applicants should have an impressive portfolio of projects
- The ideal candidate should be able to identify business risks and to how manage them.
